With just over one month to go until World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai opens its doors, excitement is building for Australia’s showcase on the world stage! The Australia Pavilion is set to deliver an unforgettable experience, celebrating innovation, sustainability, and the very best of Aussie culture.

The road to Osaka begins in Canberra

To mark the countdown to the Expo, Australia held a special launch event in Canberra, bringing together government representatives, business leaders, and special guests. Held at the National Archives of Australia, the event set the stage for what’s to come.

Guests were welcomed by Ruby the Roo, who was more than happy to pose for photos and bring some Aussie cheer. Keynote speeches from Ministers the Hon Don Farrell, the Hon Ed Husic, and the Hon Catherine King underscored Australia’s drive for global collaboration, innovation, and sustainability, setting the tone for a forward-thinking and impactful Expo presence. A short video presentation offered a sneak peek into Australia’s plans, and guests explored unique exhibits from the National Archives of Australia.
